The state of Georgia has officially declared an end to the statewide drought and cancelled all outdoor water restrictions. Lake and ground water levels are returning to normal and rainfall is plentiful. All Georgians are allowed outdoor water usage, including lawn sprinklers, on the odd-even schedule, 6 days a week (no Friday watering allowed):
Even-numbered addresses: Monday, Wednesday and Saturday
Odd-numbered addresses: Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday
Professionally installed landscapes may be watered daily for a period of 30 days. For best results and efficient water use, the State recommends no watering between the hours of 10am and 4pm. Visit www.ccwsa.com for further details. However, check with your city or local water authority as additional restrictions may still be in place.
